This week the children in Year 3 have been great researchers when planning their non-chronological reports in English. They have been able to use all their knowledge from History lessons too to make their plan detailed. In History, we looked at the great, historical site Skara Brae. Perhaps, you could ask your child about what archaeologist found there!
In maths, the children have learnt how to add and subtract 10 and 100 to/from a number and have learnt some strategies to solve addition and subtraction questions mentally.
The children have continued working on their handwriting and presentation skills across all subjects.
We have also been working through the iPad training. The children have been very patient when learning how to set up a thumb print and how to logon to the internet.
