Autumn 1 Week 3

In Maths this week, we have been adding two 4-digit numbers using the column methods. We have been working on our times tables using Timetables Rockstars. 

This week in English, the children have been planning and starting to write their non-chronological report. We have been working on our introductions, our dragon's appearance and what to feed them. 

We have been reading How to Train your Dragon by Cressida Cowell for Whole Class Reading. It has been fun to find out what is going to happen next to Hiccup and Fishlegs. 

In Topic, we have looked at the importance of Sutton-Hoo to Anglo-Saxons and how they established religion after they invaded. We learnt about how monasteries became an important place during their time. 

We had fun on Global School Day finding out about living life in other countries.
