Autumn 1 Week 3

This week, the children in Year 3 have been writing their fact file about the human skeleton. They have been using the facts they've learnt to write interesting sentences!

In Science, we carried out some practical tasks to find out more about how our muscles work. We also learned about animals with other kinds of skeletons. Ask your child if they can remember the names of 3 types of skeleton!

In Maths, the children have learned methods to solve multiplication questions. Keep continuing to practise your times tables to help with these questions.

In BSL, the children have been working on greetings, numbers and time. Ask your child if they can remember some of the time signs.

This week, so far 15 children have taken an Accelerated  reader test. Please encourage your child to read regularly at home. If your child is ready for a quiz, we are encouraging them to put their book in the quiz box in the classroom.

Home learning so far this week: 28/30 children have completed their work this week. Well done to you, we are nearly at 100%!
