English

In English this week, the children have been writing their non-chronological reports. They have used their research, from last week, to plan and write about the Stone Age. The children have worked really hard in English this week, by using topic vocabulary, a range of describing words (adjectives) and including different sentence openers.

Maths

In Maths this week, the children have been building on their knowledge of addition and subtraction. They have been using a range of methods to solve both addition and subtraction calculations. They have been able to use their reasoning skills to answer more complex questions by explaining their answers.

Star of the week – Amelia (Amelia has been working really hard in all lessons this week).

Writer of the week – Renaya (Renaya has produced some lovely sentences in English this week).
