This week, the children in Year 3 have been writing their non-chronological reports about the Stone Age in English lessons. They are also publishing their work using their best handwriting. We have been really impressed with all their hard work!
In Topic, we looked at Stone Age monuments including Stone Henge and also found out who the Cheddar Man was!
In maths, the children have learnt how to answer different addition and subtraction questions by drawing Dienes or number lines to help them.
In PSHE, they have been learning about respect and in Music, they have been learning the song ‘I’ve been to Haarlem’ and ‘Tongo’ in a call and response style.
The children now have their iPads and have been thinking carefully about how to look after them and keep them safe.
They will be getting home learning this week on paper, please help your child to complete their home learning challenges. Thank you!
