English

In English this week, the children have started a new unit of writing. For the next few weeks, we are going to be learning all about narratives; to be able to write their own time travel story, based on the book ‘Stone Age Boy.’ We have already started to look at the layouts and features of a narrative, by looking at WAGGOLs (What A Good One Looks Like).

Maths

In Maths this week, the children have been learning more about multiplication. We have been using lots of different mathematical vocabulary when consolidating our multiplication knowledge.

Star of the week – Elsie (Elsie has been coming into school with a positive attitude, ready to learn everyday!)

Writer of the week – Jimeto (Jimeto has been working hard to improve his handwriting each week)
