Autumn 1 Week 6

This week, the children in Year 3 have been continuing to explore the book 'The Stone Age Boy'. They have been taking the new vocabulary they have learnt to develop and improve sentences in readiness for their independent writing next week.

In Topic, we started to learn about the Iron Age and the changes that the Celts brought to Britain.

In Maths, the children have learnt about multiplication and division and different strategies to support this.

In PSHE, they have been learning about being respectful when someone has a different opinion. Do you like Brussels?

This week, so far  14 children have taken an Accerated reader test. Thank you for all the support at home with the children’s reading. The children are enjoying getting lots of points!

In Music, the children have learnt the cup rhythm to play with 'I’ve been to Harlem'.
