Autumn 1 Week 7

In Maths this week, we have been looking at measure. The children have learnt how to find missing lengths of rectilinear shapes using addition and subtraction, calculating perimeters by counting squares and using given lengths. We continue to work on our times tables. This week we have looked at our 7 timetables. 

In English we have been writing our narrative about an adventure with a dragon. We are looking forward to sharing them with our reading buddies after we have published them. 

In RE, we have continued to look at Jews and their relationship with God. We discussed the importance of the torah, the mezuzah and Shabbat.  

We had the PE coach this week and we learnt about working in teams. We learnt the importance of working together and how to communicate effectively. In Swimming we practiced our breaststroke and backstroke.
