Autumn 2 Week 2

This week, in maths, we have been solving addition and subtraction problems. We know to look closely at the different symbols in the number sentences to tell us whether we need to add or subtract. 
In English, we have been learning lots of different skills ready to use in our story writing next week. We have focussed on time adverbials and expanded noun phrases. Ike gave a fantastic example of an expanded noun phrase to describe our character. He said "she has small, icy-blue eyes". 
On Thursday, we completed lots of activities to show our support for Children In Need. Imogen made an amazing Pudsey out of Lego, well done Imogen!
