Autumn 2 Week 2

This week in the Starfish class, we have worked really hard in all our lessons. In maths, we have been looking at subtraction and Tammy has work excpetionally well subtracting using tens and ones when excanging in required.  In English lessons, we have continued to explore The Porridge Pot story and practiced writing expanded noun phrases. Amina worked really hard to use exciting adjectives and challnged her self to edit her writing independetly.

We have started our new mini project in topic lessons, called 'mix it'. We used water colour paint to create a colour wheel, and learnt how to mix primary colours together to create secondary colours. The whole class did amazingly with this, and Miss Eaton was super proud of us. 

This week we also celebrated and supported children in need by wearing our pajamas. We also donated money to support the charity. We had lot's of fun taking part in the pudsey spot race and engaging in pudsey activities. 

This week in Super Starfish, we had two superstars. Noah won star of the week for trying his hardest in all lessons. Amina won star writing for her lovely expanded noun phrase writing.
