Autumn 2 week 3

This week we have been reading the story of The Three Liitle Pigs. The children enjoyed retelling the story and used the masks to create the characters. They used the repeating refrains, "Not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin" and "I'll huff and I'll puff".  Ralphie made a really scary wolf during inside learning and outside learning. We discussed as a group which house was the strongest and why?. Also whilst we were outside, we used the large building resources to make different syles of houses. Amelia and Arthur also used hoops and pipes to create their house.

In Maths, we were looking at different shapes and asking the children to descibe them for example, How many sides? How many corners? 

We sang a variety of different Nursery Rhymes throughout the week.

As normal the children have all been superstars and welcomed the new children by helping them settle in.
