Autumn 2 - Week 3

The Clever Koalas have been really busy this week!

Maths 

In maths the children have continued with their learning around fractions, they have now developed this further and have learnt how to convert fractions to decimals and compare them.

English 

In English the children have continued to write non-chronological reports about Space, they will soon be ready to share.  The children have included parenthesis, commas and colons, subordinate clauses and relative clauses.

Science/Art

The children have been learning about the different phases of the moon, they have created some artwork to show this - see below.

Achievements

Star of the week - Evie, for all of her hard work on her non-chronological report about space.

Star writer - Luna-Bow, for concentrating on the features needed in a non-chronological report.
