Maths

This week, the children have been learning about how to solve division calculations using short division. They know that they can use either their times tables or groups to support them with this. Dominiks was able to independently use column multiplication to check each of his division calculations.   

English

During this week, the children have been planning their own myths. They have designed their own main character and villain and thought about the problem that will need to be overcome. As part of the planning process, Gabiell has written some great sentences that he will use at the beginning of each paragraph. 

Other Areas

On Monday, the children really enjoyed their swimming lesson and this week, Lily swam gracefully using a range of different strokes. Throughout the week, the children have really enjoyed taking part in a boys versus girls competition on TT Rockstars. We are really looking forward to finding out who will win.
