Maths

This week, the children have been learning about equivalent fractions. They know how to use both drawings and a fraction wall to support them with identifying whether two fractions are the same. Basim was able to independently identify the relationship between equivalent fractions and times tables.   

English

During this week, the children have been writing their own myths. They have been working hard on making sure that their writing includes adjectives, fronted adverbials and speech. Olivia has worked exceptionally hard on improving the amount of detail within her writing and using a wider range of adventurous vocabulary.  

Other Areas

In Topic, the children have really enjoyed learning how to weave on a mini loom using warp and weft. We are really proud of how well they have worked together and supported one another. 

Well done to the girls, who were the winners of our first TT Rockstars class competition. A special mention must go to Aurora, who worked exceptionally hard on practising her times tables and earning valuable points for the girls.
