English

In English this week, Year 3 have started their new unit of writing. We are going to be writing a persuasive letter, to Mrs Ratcliff, to persuade her to make lunches healthier in school. The children started looking at different persuasive letters and started to identify the features within each one.

Maths

In Maths this week, the children have been working on fractions. They have been looking at fractions of shapes and learning the vocabulary linked to fractions.

Star of the week - Whole Class (Everyone has shown a positive attitude towards their learning this week). 

Writer of the week - Jimeto (Jimeto has written an excellent fact file about the human skeleton).
