Autumn 2, Week 5

Take a look at what Talented T-Rex class have been learning this week…

We have started learning about measure in Maths, comparing lengths and heights. We have used the language ‘shorter’, ‘taller’ and ‘longer’ to make comparisons.

In Computing, we had fun learning about pictograms. First, we drew a picture of how we travelled to school and put these together to create a class pictogram. Then, we used Purple Mash to create a pictogram about our favourite fruit and animals. We enjoyed looking at the pictures to help us interpret the results.

This week, we really enjoyed our Art lessons as part of our ‘Funny Faces and Fabulous Features’ topic. For our final piece, we created self-portraits with a twist! We used different materials and resources to create our facial features. Ella, Ethan and Pola really impressed me with their creativity.

Well done Sidney for Star Writer! You have shared and written some lovely, creative sentences this week about hobbies and holidays.
