Autumn 2 Week 5

We have had another busy week in the Starfish class.

In maths, we have been learning measurement.  Ollie has worked really hard, reading the scales on measuring jugs. Noah discussed with a partner why we use scales to weigh objects.  

In English, we have read Greta and the Giants and started to collect facts about deforestation that we can use in our letter. Jenson enjoyed selling information he had found to his group.

In topic this week, we have been exploring hot and cold climates. We have found out that the North Pole is made up of only ice and it is 3m thick!

On Tuesday we had a very special treat, we watched a pantomine! We loved joining in with the songs, dancing and the jokes.
