Date: 7th Dec 2023 @ 4:06pm
Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...
In English, we have been learning to write about our family, pets, hobbies and holidays for our 'Super Duper Me' unit. It has been lovely learning about everyone and their family. Well done to Sara for using some lovely describing words in her piece of writing.
In Forest School, we went on a hunt to find lots of wintery items on our checklist. We were lucky enough to see a sheet of ice that had frozen in a bucket. We enjoyed passing it around and feeling it melt in our hands. We had a lovely discussion about why the ice was melting in our hands.
In maths, we have been looking at measuriung length. We have been using the vocabulary of shorter and longer to compare the length. Well done to Codi for working independently in his maths this week, fantastic achievement!
We all had a lovely time on Tuesday when the pantomime came to school! Everyone throughly enjoyed listening to the songs, jokes and the dances.
Well done to our 'Star of the Week' which was Jacob! He has been working really hard in all of his lessons this week and contributed well to class discussions, well done!
Our star writer this week was Madelyn, who has been completing some super work in English and has come up with some wonderful ideas. Excellent work. well done!
