Maths

In Maths this week, the children have been working hard to improve their understanding of circles.  At the beginning of the week, the children began their learning by looking at how to calculate the radius and diameter of the circle. Towards the end of the week, the children widened this understanding by learning how to calculate the circumference of a circle.  

English

In English this week, the children have continued writing their balanced arguments for 'Should slavery be abolished?'. This week, the children have completed their independent writing and have published their final pieces.
