Autumn 2 Week 6

We have had another busy week in the Starfish class.

In maths, we have been learning how to read and interpret data. We have learnt how to draw a tally and use this to help us create a pictogram. Sullivan worked hard counting tallies in groups of 5.

In English, we planned our letter to the Giants, explaining to them why deforestation needs to stop. We included lots of facts and questions to prompt a reply from the Giants. Maya included a wide range of facts in her plan, well done Maya!

In topic this week, we have started our new mini project called ‘still life’. We enjoyed walking around an art gallery in our classroom. We then chose our favourite art piece to sketch into our books.
