Autumn 2 Week 6

Maths
In Maths lessons this week, we have been exploring coordinates. We have been reading coordinates and even had a go at plotting them on a grid. Later on in the week, we had a go at drawing shapes using coordinates.

English
In English this week, we have continued our learning about Newspapers. We have planned our own Newspaper reports to report on the story of Aldwyn and his family escaping from the vicious Vikings taking over the city. We started writing these at the end of the week.

Other Subjects
In Topic this week we have started working in our new Art Journals. The Bees have had a lot of fun exploring colours on the colour wheel and mixing colours found in famous artwork.

Other news
Thank you to all the parents that came to the BSL lesson on Friday. The children really enjoyed having you there and it was so amazing to see everyone signing and having a go.
