Maths
This week in Maths, the children have been learning about time. We have used clocks to understand; o’clock, half past, quarter to and past and looked at 5-minute intervals. The children have worked super hard in Maths this week!

English
In English this week, the children have been writing their persuasive letters to Mrs Ratcliff, to persuade her for more healthy food in school. They have talked about the benefits of healthy eating and the effects of not eating a healthy, balanced diet.

Topic

In Topic lessons this week, we have continued to be ‘Geographers.’ The children have been learning about lines of longitude and latitude, climate zones. Towards the end of the week the children will learn about carbon footprints.

Star of the week - Pearl (Pearl always shows a positive attitude towards her learning).

Writer of the week - Jenson (Jenson has really tried hard with writing his persusive letter this week).
