Maths

In Maths this week, the children have been working on recognising and measuring angles. At the beginning of the week, the children began their learning by working out how to identify missing angles. The children used their knowledge of angles on a straight line to calculate missing values. 

English 

In English this week, the children have been writing their own suspense narratives. Focusing on using Year 6 features in their writing. 

Topic 

Within our topic lessons, the children created their own landscape paintings. At the end of last week, the children showcased their working to parents. Thank you for all those that took the time to attend our event.
