Autumn 2 Week 3

Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week...

In English we have been publishing our final letter to 'Miss Nancy'. We have all been working really hard on our final pieces using our plans. Abigail has produced a lovely final piece and her handwriting is beautiful, well done!

In maths, we have been learning how to use a number line and hundred squares to solve addition problems. Joel has being an independent learner and worked really hard finding the numbers and jumping forwards. 

Well done to our 'Star of the Week' which was Elsie! She has been working really hard in all of her lessons this week, well done!

Our star writer this week was IvyRose who completed a lovely letter about the 1950's to Miss Nancy. Excellent work. well done!

In our 'Mix It' topic we have had lots of fun exploring primary and secondary colours. At the beginning of the week we looked at the primary colours and explored how we could mix them together to make the secondary colours. On Tuesday, we looked at mixing the colours with rollers and mixing by folding. Ulfa really enjoyed squishing the pages together to mix her colours. Some examples of this wonderful work are below!
