Autumn 2 Week 3

In Maths this week, we have been looking at division. We has used the formal bus stop method to divide 2 and 3-digit numbers. The children have even had some tricky ones with remainders. We continue to have our weekly times table practice on a Friday, we are getting quicker at recalling them.

In English we continue our work on newspaper reports. We have planned out what we wanted to write and have published some great reports about the Viking invasion!

In Topic, we have moved onto our Contrast and Compliment mini projects. The children have explored colour palettes and looked at different artwork to see which ones they use. We have worked on our representations of half a piece of artwork using sketching techniques and finishing them off by painting with water colours.

We have been learning how to say who is in our family in Spanish. In RE, we have been learning about incarnation and why God made himself human in some of the Bible.
