Maths

In Maths this week, the year 6 children have been working super hard on their understanding of converting between units of measure. This week the children have learnt how to convert between mm, cm, m and km by multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000. 

English

In English this week, the children have been learning how to write non-chronological reports. This week the children have learnt how to use parenthesis and conjunctions within their sentences. The children then used their grammatical knowledge to write the introductions to their own non-chronological reports about slavery.
