Maths

In Maths this week, the year 6 children have been working super hard on their understanding of perimeter, area and volume. The children began their week by looking at how to calculate the area and perimeter of regular shapes, they then applied this knowledge to calculate the area of parrellograms and triangles. At the end of the week, the children learnt how to calculate the volume of cubes and cubiods. 

English

In English this week, the children have been writing their own non-chronological reports. Check back on the blog next week to see some fantastic published examples of their work.
