Maths

In Maths this week, the year 6 children have been working super hard on their understanding of circles and angles. This week, the children have learnt how to calculate the radius and diameter of circles, the children then used this knowledge to calculate the circumference of circles. At the end of the week, the children learnt how to calculate missing angles on a straight line and in circles.

English

In English this week, the children have began learning about character descriptions. The children have written their own character descriptions based on the character of Leonard in Windrush Child.
