Maths

This week, in school, the children have looked at how to calculate the mean. The children learnt how to add a data set together and then divide the total by the amount of data in the set.

English

This week, the children have begun to write their own persuasive holiday leaflets to encourage people to holiday in the Arctic. Check back next week for some examples of their fantastic work.

Topic

In Topic this week, the children have continued their mini project 'Engineer'. This week, the children applied their learning from last week and created their own group bridges. Well done to Gabriel, Theo, Janelle, Charlie and Sharlene, who created the winning design. Their bridge was able to hold a total of 250g. Take a look at the children's creations below.
