Bears Autumn 1, Week 5

Take a look at the Brilliant Bears learning this week...

English 

This week, we looked at the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme. We discussed the key words, such as 'great' and 'together', to understand their meanings. We practised singing the nursery rhyme and had a go at acting it out. 

Maths

In Maths, we practised counting to 10, using a song to help us. Then, we practised counting groups of objects by touch counting. David did a great job finding the numbers on a number line, to show how many objects we had. 

Topic

We read the story 'We're going on a bear hunt' and joined in with different parts of the story. Then, we made a map to show the journey the family went on. Well done Alice, you remembered the story really well.
