English 

We have looked at our first non-fiction text this week, called 'Let's build a house'. In the book, we discussed the different materials used to build houses and we made comparisons to our own houses. Evie and George did a great job at naming the different materials.

Maths

This week, we have been comparing amounts, using the language 'fewer' and 'more'. We sorted ourselves into groups of boys and girls to help us understand the terms 'fewer' and 'more'. Then, we practised using this language to compare groups of objects. 

Topic

On Monday, we looked at different images of builders and their jobs. We then worked with a partner to act out different actions. Our partner had to guess which building task we were recreating. Lockie's acting was super! 

Star of the week - Archie! You have grown in confidence over the last few weeks, having lots of positive interactions with friends and adults.
