Busy Bees Summer 2 Week 6

Maths
In Maths lessons this week, Bees Class have been exploring line graphs and looking at how to interpret the data shown in them. Later on in the week, Bees class used the data table they made about the election results last week, and made their very own line graph to show the results. They really enjoyed doing this!

English
In English this week, Bees Class have continued learning all about Persuasive letters. On Monday and Tuesday, we looked at what we needed in our persuasive letters and wrote a plan for writing our own letters. For the rest of the week, we have been using all the features we have learned to write up our own persuasive letters.  

Other Subjects
In Topic this week, we finished our learning about ‘Statues, Statuettes and Figurines’ with painting our statuettes on Tuesday. After this, we started a new topic ‘Islamic Art’ where we learned about the history of Islamic art. Later in the week we used shapes and compasses to make our own geometric shape patterns.

Our Star Writer of the week this week is Harriet

Our Stars of the week are Drake for being a team player and for his great use of persuasive language in our group project. And Zaiden for his great effort in our Topic learning!
