Busy Bees Summer 2 Week 7

Maths
In Maths lessons this week, Bees Class have been looking at identifying different types of triangles. Later on in the week, we recapped symmetry and used mirrors to find where shapes had a line of symmetry and where they didn’t.

English
In English this week, Bees Class have continued learning all about Persuasive letters. We finished writing them in the middle of the week and then began to publish them, using our best handwriting to do this.

Other Subjects
In Topic this week, we continued our learning about ‘Islamic Art’. First, we used our knowledge of symmetry to create patterns with colour. At the end of the week, we used a star template to create different coloured stars and arranged them on our books to create a pattern.

Our Star Writers of the week this week is Ollie and Sienna!

Our Stars of the week are the whole class! For their great effort in persuasive writing and for being all round super stars!
