Maths

In Maths this week, we have been looking at groups of objects and talking about which group has 'more 'fewer' or 'the same amount'  We organised ourselves into boys and girls, children with jumpers or no jumpers and children with and without a ponytail. We counted the different groups and discussed the different amounts. Well done to Margot for showing a great understanding of this :) 

English

In English this week, we have enjoyed exploring the text 'Let's Build a House' We talked about this text being a non-fiction text and used it to find out lot's of information about homes around the world. We then compared the homes to our own homes. Well done to Jessica for answering lots of questions about the text :)

Topic 

This week, we enjoyed using junk modelling to create our own models. We made houses, towers, castles and shops. We thought carefully about the correct shape needed for each part of the building.
