Maths

In Maths this week, we have been learning to find one less. We used songs to help us with this and really enjoyed learning 'Ten Green Bottles' 'Ten in the Bed' and 'Ten Little Monkeys'  We created a bus and at each bus stop, one person got off. We said ‘one less’ and counted how many were left on the bus. Well done to Charlie for noticing that the number was getting smaller each time a passenger got off the bus :) 

English

In English this week, we read the story ‘Harry and the Robots’ We talked about robots needing power to work and thought about different jobs that robots can do. For our weekly writing task, we had a go at writing a caption to describe a robot from ‘Harry and the Robots’. Orlagh was able to give a great description of the robot - well done Orlagh! :) 

PE

In PE, we watched a video showing people dancing like robots. We then tried hard to copy their moves. We tried hard to isolate parts of our bodies to represent how robots move.
