Cheetah Class Autumn 2 Week 4

In maths we have been looking at subtracting on a hundred square. We have worked hard jumping backwards and knowing that in subtraction our number will get smaller. We also had to really concentrate as sometimes we were bridging ten where we needed to go to the line above and continue to count backwards. Well done to

In our new ‘Funny Faces’ topic we learnt about portraits and self-portraits and the differences between these. We then created our own self-portraits. We have some wonderful artists in Cheetahs class and the work that was produced was exceptional. Well done to Jack, Tare and Harriet who all created excellent self-portraits. I especially liked how Tare even included his blue glasses!

Star of the Week - Well done to Maya for her excellent work in maths. She really tried hard when counting backwards on a one hundred square and completed her work independently. Excellent attitude towards her learning!

Star Writer – Well done to Melissa who wrote a beautiful letter to ‘Miss Nancy’. She used her capital letters, full stops, finger spaces and used the conjunction ‘and’ to join her sentence together. Well done!
