Cheetah Class Autumn 1 Week 8
Date: 24th Oct 2024 @ 3:53pm
Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...
In topic, we have been learning about the 1950’s. We have been recapping our learning on what childhood was like in the 1950’s. We were quite shocked to find out that televisions were in black and white. Mostly everyone agreed that they would prefer to be a child now because: the televisions are colour; they like to play on their tablets and the toys are better now. Metehan did say he would prefer to be a 1950’s child so he could watch a black and white television.
In maths, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We have learnt that 2D shapes can not be picked up as they are completely flat. We have looked at new maths vocabulary to include sides, faces and edges. Did you know that corners are called vertices! Well done to David who did an excellent job identifying his 2D shapes.
