Cheetah Class Spring 1 Week 5

Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...

In English, we have been planning for our instruction writing. We have been learning how to draft our writing for the first time. We used our plan to write a draft of our instructions. We then also learnt to edit our work using our purple pen.

In maths we have been focusing on time this week. We have been learning about the different hands on the clock. We have learnt that the long hand is the minute hand and if it points to the 12 it is o’clock and if it points at the 6 it is half past. We have learnt that the short hand tells us what hour it is. Well done to David who worked independently and identified o’clock times and drew the hands perfectly.
