English
This week in English, the Cheetah class have been focusing on writing detailed descriptions of the different seasons. They’ve been using a variety of adjectives to make their writing more engaging and connectives to link their ideas smoothly. The children have been comparing the weather in each season, and describing what they see, hear, and feel throughout the year. Arthur did an outstanding job crafting some fantastic sentences and took great pride in his work. It’s truly wonderful to watch the children’s confidence in writing continue to grow!
Maths
In Maths, we’ve been practicing how to record measurements of length and height. The children have been using rulers with increasing precision, making sure to focus on the accuracy of their measurements. It’s been fantastic to see them refine their skills and learn the importance of careful measuring.
Topic
As part of our “Rain and Sunrays” mini project, we’ve started exploring texture, form, and line. The children have been experimenting with different techniques to create unique textures and shapes in their artwork, and they’re excited to keep developing these skills.
