Cheetahs Class Autumn 1 Week 6
Date: 10th Oct 2024 @ 2:30pm
Take a look at what Cheerful Cheetahs class have been learning this week ...
In RE, we have been learning about the importance of looking after our planet. We had some lovely discussions on why it was important to not cut down our trees. Elijah knew that the trees were important to the world as they produce oxygen.
In maths, we have been learning about subtraction and have used different strategies to help us to subtract one number from another. We have looked at missing number problems and using our part, part, whole model to help us work out the answers. Well done to Maya who did a fantastic job at using the model.
Star Writer - Well done to Darren for sounding out and spelling his words. He also used capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in his work and worked really hard on his presentation.
Star of the Week – Omar has worked really hard in his maths lessons this week. He worked really hard and used the strategies he had been taught to work out the answers by drawing counters and crossing them out. Fantastic effort!
