Clever Koalas - Autumn 2 - Week 7

We have had such a lovely last week of the year in the Koalas class.  

In English this week the children have published their setting descriptions and they look brilliant.  Well done to everyone who has been working so hard on improving their handwriting and joining all of their letters.  It marks the end of our work on space and the Moon, this has been a topic which the children have all thoroughly enjoyed! 

The focus in Maths this week has been on reading different tables and timetables, this has proved to be quite tricky! We had clocks out on Wednesday to help us answer a range of questions about bus timetables and how look it would take to get from one stop to the next – well done for your perseverance Koalas! 

 We also had our final session with Silas our sports coach for this half term, the children have loved having him as a coach and always listen so well in him.  Our PE days will be changing for the Spring term with our PE days now being on a Monday and a Friday.  

Myself, Mrs McIlroy and Mrs Fox wish you all a restful and fun filled Christmas break, enjoy the start of 2025 and we will see you on Monday 6th January 2025! Thank you for all your support in the Autumn term. :)
