Huge congratulations to Corey for achieving Star of Week this week, he has been working very hard to improve his handwriting and has been focusing well in all lessons – well done Corey!!

This has been a short week last week of this half term due to an inset day on Friday, however the Dolphins have been working just as hard as usual!

In Spanish this week we have had a parental engagement, showing what a Spanish lesson looks like in Year 3. The children have been learning the names of different fruits and saying which fruits they like and which they do not like. Thank you so much to those parents who were able to attend.

In English we have been writing up our final newspaper reports – reporting on when Julius Caesar invaded Britannia. The Dolphins have shown some excellent examples of direct speech in their reports when interviewing Romans at the time. A big well done to Alyss, Theodore and Kyle for their super journalism!

It is hard to believe that we are about to start the last half term holiday of Year 3, the next time we break up it will be for the summer!! We hope everyone has a fantastic half term break!
