Dazzling Dolphins - Summer 2 - Week 2

We would like to start with a big thank you for everything who was able to attend our class assembly on Wednesday this week, the children loved seeing you. The biggest thank you however goes to the children for working so hard on learning their lines and being brave enough to speak in front of 400 people! Well done Dazzling Dolphins! 

Congratulations to Ellie-Mai for achieving Star of Week this week, she has been working so hard in her role as JLT for our class and was brilliant last week when discussing her role with Mr Hughes! 

Huge congratulations to Reuben for being awarded Star Writer! 

Also on Wednesday morning this week the Dolphins participated in Reigate Park’s Science day all around the theme ‘Time’.  They created some fantastic sun dials and enjoyed all the different activities they completed!

On Wednesday afternoon we had our second session at Forest Schools! The children who took part in this truly loved being outside and completing the different tasks! Well done to Freya and Afolarin who listened well and were great team players! Please make sure everyone remembers their wellies/outdoor shoes each Wednesday so we can all enjoy Forest Schools. 

In Topic we have continues with our Science project on Plant Nutrition and Reproduction, the children have finished an investigation into the stems in plants.  Their investigation went well and proved the important job that stems have in plants. Please ask your children to explain what happened to the celery!
