Dazzling Dolphins - Summer 2 - Week 5

What a week it has been!!

Mrs Dewsbury and Mrs Milller thought two children deserved the Star of the Week this week and could not choose between them! First, well done to Eli for his excellent effort in Maths, he has been working so hard on telling the time and problem solving. Secondly, well done to Hassan for a fantastic piece of writing.  Hassan wrote a very descriptive myth, using a range of adjectives.

The Dolphins began the week with their final assessments of Year 3! Well done to everyone for their concentration and superb effort on Monday and Tuesday.  The children completed a reading paper, a maths arithmetic paper and two maths reasoning papers! It is a large amount of time to be focussed for – well done Dolphins you should be very proud of yourselves!

On Wednesday this week we went on our Summer trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park and luckily avoided the rain! All of the Dolphins were absolutely amazing, they behaved exceptionally and were a credit to Reigate Park! We all had an awesome time and saw a wide range of animals, including, giant otters, monkeys, leopards, zebras, giraffes, camels, lions, the most impressive polar bears plus many more! See some of the photographs below, we managed to catch a leopard enjoying a large yawn! Thank you to all the adult volunteers who came along to help, we hope you had a brilliant time too!
