Gazelles Spring 1 Week 3

This week we have been looking at the story "The Gingerbread Man". We used the puppets and the masks to act out the characters in the story.

In Maths the children have been linking the Gingerbread men to the trays by using spots and numerals.The gingerbread men had different amounts of spots on and the trays had the numerals but also had matching spots on for the children who are unsure of number recognition.

The children where also able to use a Gingerbread man stencil to draw and design their own.

In PE we had lots of Gross motor practise,for example,throwing and catching a ball,rolling the ball to their partners,Hopping ,Skipping and balancing on one leg.

What a lovely but very busy week again.
