Gazelles Summer 2 week 2

This week we have continued to the read the book "Commotion in the Ocean".The children have loved exploring all the different sea creatures and finding out different facts using the interactive whiteboard.

In Maths we having been matching quantity to numerals for example, 5 sea shells to the number 5. 

The children are continuing to read with the adults and are using the pictures to tell some really good stories.

In phonics this week we have been playing the memory game. An adult tells them 3 items of shopping they would like in their shopping basket. The children then have to place the items into the shopping basket preferably in the correct order. This helps the children remember the sounds that are being spoken in words,which will help with their reading and writing.

Another great week in the Nursery. So proud of all of you for all your hard work.
