Marvellous Meerkats week 4

On Tuesday the children enjoyed taking part in Global School Day.  They learnt lots from their peers and adult visitors about different countries.

Our English this week has focused on writing a non-chronological report about the Afrcan Slave Trade.  The children have worked hard to ensure the features needed are included in their writing.

Maths this week has been around units of measure and conversions, the children have done really well at this and are able to use the rules to change from one to another unit.

On Friday we are creating some Artwork to send home for parents - watch out for this!

Next week we are taking part in a Readathon - please help your child to read as much as possible - there are prizes up for grabs!!
