Meerkat Spring 1 w1

Wow what a first week to Spring term!  The Marvellous Meerkats have settled back in really well and are proving to be ready for the next part of Year 6.

To begin the new term and new topic, Frozen Kingdoms the children have started to learn about the Artic and Antartic regions.  The children are engaged and interested in their new learning.

In English, we have been exploring what makes a good adventure narrative, ready for writing our own over the next couple of weeks.  The children have explored the features of a narrative and started to use some good descriptive language.

In Maths, we have started by considering and comparing numbers, rounding numbers including decimals and using negative numbers.
