Meerkats Autumn 2 w5

The children in Meerkats have had a busy week of cooking and baking, as well as the usual learning this week.

On Tuesday, the children made a pasta sauce from: tomatoes, onions, herbs and garlic.  The children really enjoyed the cookery session and a few even took samples home to share with family. (see photos attached)

On Thursday, we made bread.  The children made a dough, baked the bread and then taste tested!  The children compared this to a shop bought loaf - most said how much nicer it was!
