Monkeys Summer 2 week 7

So here it is, our last blog of the year as Monkeys. It has been an exciting week with lots of different things happening. On Monday morning the children visited their new classrooms and met their new teachers. Wednesday morning, the rain held off and we had our sports day. The children did a great job cheering each other on and some are coming home with gold, silver and bronze awards today to share with you. In English, we started writing a set of instructions. The children decided to write recipes to make into a book for our library. Our botanical art lessons inspired us to use nature to draw and copy what we see around us. In BSL, we learnt about the weather. Ask us about the weather and the seasons, we love to sign about them.  On Tuesday, we watched the year 6 performance. We really enjoyed the sound effects, although some of us felt a bit nervous when the sirens went off.The singing was magnificent. It got us bopping in our seats. The acting was also amazing. Parents and carers are in for a real treat.
